How it works
Discounted profit = Price×(1−Discount%) − COGS − Commission − Affiliate − Shipping.
Commission and affiliate are charged on the discounted price, which softens the blow slightly — but the discount still comes straight out of your margin. A 20% discount on a 30%-margin product usually wipes out profit entirely. Always check before you launch the sale.
